Welcome back to the Race Organizer Review series, in which I plunge new cars into the weird and demanding world of a traveling race official with the 24 Hours of LeMons road-racing series. McLaren has denied reports that boss Ron Dennis is being demoted in the wake of the automotive division he heads losing money. Germany's Auto Motor und Sport broke the news this week that Dennis could be demoted. He is known for shaping McLaren into a motorsports powerhouse, and has spearheaded its automotive division since 2009.
POLICE are catching more "morning after" drink-drivers, according to latest figures. The number of people arrested for drink-driving between 6am and 8am rose nearly 4% between 2011 and 2012, police statistics published by car insurance company LV showed. A further survey of 1,688 drivers showed that 3% had driven while over the legal limit the morning after a drinking session in the last two years.
